		Hector Delhoste's sons Left: 1)Louis Author aka Pud Delhoste, 2) Julian Edward aka Ed Delhoste, 3) Joseph Charles aka Mann Delhoste. Son John O Delhoste died around age 28 and is not pictured. John O Delhoste never married. Hector had no daughters.

HOH is Hector Delhasti (should be Delhoste). white male, a farmer who is age 51 born Feb 1849 in LA with wife Julia (Birter) should be Bartier (sister of first wife Marie) age 20 born Nov 1879 in LA with Marie's (1st wiife's 4 children : Joseph C age 17 born July 1882 in LA, John O age 16 born Apr 1884 in LA, Edward age 13 born Jun 1886. Louis A age 12 born Feb 1888 in LA. Also Marie and Julia's mother, Antinette Birter (Bartier) age 68 born Aug 1831in France is living in this household. All four boys attended 6 months of school in the year 1900 and worked as farm laborers on their farm. Hector owned his farm and home, free, with no mortage.

HOH is Julian E. Delhoste, a farmer, age 33 born in LA. Wife is Avedis (should be Amelia) age 31 born in LA. Son, Raymond E Delhoste age 3 years and 11 months, Blanche A. Delhoste age 1 year and 3 months, step son Albert White age 11. All chidlren were born in LA. I don't know Albert's brothers Richard and Vernon White were. They were sons of Amelia by her first marriage to Noah White.

He was age 29 at marriage to Amelia (Charrier - White) Delhoste who is now age 41 and was age 27 (married before to Noah White-deceased) when she married Julian E. Delhoste. They married in Dec 1917. Ameilia had two sons 1) Richard White age 20, a farm laborer, who married at age 18 and Richard was listed in the household with Julian and Amelia. 2) Albert L. White age 22 single and worked on a river boat. HOH Julian and Amelia had two children: Raymond E. Delhoste age 14 born in LA and Blanche A. Delhoste age 11 born in LA. Everyone could read and write. Julian was not a veteran.

Married at the residence of Isaac Dupont by Justice of the Peace, W. L. Shaw. Witnesses were: J.E. Burus, W.B. Lewis and Willis Jones (who lived with cousin Isaac Dupont at the time). I found on the 1910 census her name was Louise Swalling although they transcribed it as Louis D. Smalling. She was born in AR. Her parents were Elizah M and Mattie D. Swalling, both born in LA per 1910 Concordia Parish census.
